Memory upgrades

First of all in order to upgrade your system you need to know what kind memory it needs. The Crucial Memory Advisor Tool takes the guesswork out of upgrading. Once you have the right kind of memory, it's very easy to install and it should only take about 15 minutes.

1. Turn your computer off.
2. Unplug all the cables behind your computer.
3. Open the case of your computer.
4. Touch something metal to release static electricity from your body.
5. Locate the memory slot.
6. Remove old memory card OR if it's empty just snap the new one in place.
7. Put the cover on.
8. Reconnect all the wires and start your PC.
9. Check if your computer recognizes the new memory. To do that go to my computer-> properties->General tab- It should be listed on the bottom.
