Feeds Configuration

For the AdSense for feeds to work, there is a need for a variety of settings in different parts of the chain: AdSense, FeedBurner and Blog.
I will teach you step by step using the AdSense for Feeds on Blogspot, with FeedBurner.


1)Configurations AdSense

a) Enter the page of your AdSense with the login and password.
b) Click the tab "AdSense Setup"
c) Click the link"AdSense for Feeds".
d) Select the type of ad (text / graphics), the frequency, the minimum length and ad position.
e) If you want to customize the color, click "Let me choose the colors".
f)setup the channel (If not familiar with channel just jump to the next section)
g) Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "burn a new feed".
h)In the window that opens, type the URL of the feed. Attention is the address of the blog, not the feed. ex. http://yoursite.blogspot.com
k)Make sure to write down or copy the feed address that will appear. copy the entire line.
l)Finalize
m) Click "save".

2) Blogspot settings

a)Log into your blog with your username and password.
b) Click the tab "Settings".
c) Click the "Site Feed".
d) In "Permit Blog Feeds" select "Full" in the box "URL To Redirect the Feed", copy the address you copied from adsense in item "k". "Save it."
e)Scroll down the page until the end and click "Save Settings".

3) Settings FeedBurner

a)Login into the Google then feedburner.
b)Select the blog you set in the AdSense page, clicking on it's title.
c)Click the tab "optimize" and the link "smart feed" click enable.
d) Click the tab "Publish" and click on "friendly graphic"
f) Scroll down the page until the end, and in the box "Use as a widget in", select "Blogger". And then click "go".
g) On the nex page select the name of your blog, edit the title if you want and click "Add Widget" .
h) the configuration page of your blogspot will open and feed will be added automatically.
e) Click "Save".

All set! Feed configured for AdSense.

please note:

1. The ads can take several minutes or several hours to appear.
2. The ads will appear only in complete feeds (after they are all contextual and need the text).
3.The ads will appear only in feed readers.

How to burn a Feed with feedburner

To burn a feed with FeedBurner and make it available to it's readers, do this:

a) Go to the Google page:https://www.google.com/accounts/Login
b)Click on "Feedburner" link
c) At the top, click "Languages".
d) Select the language you wish.
e) Under "Start to Burn Now. Enter the URL of your blog" is a text box. Enter the full path to your blog.
ex:http://yoursitename.blogspot.com
f) Click the "next".
g) In the window that opens, select the type of feed: Atom or RSS. Both will be read by various readers. Click "Next"
h) Select and copy the full path that appears in the text box "Feed Address".
i) If you do not have an account in Feed Burner, now is the time to get one. Create a login and password.
j) Click "Activate Feed" or "Next".
k)Next page will be to configurate Traffic Statistics. Select whatever you want to track and click "Next"

l) Go to your blogspot page with the login and password. Click "settings".
l) Click the "Site Feed".
l) In "Permit Blog Feeds" select "Full" in the box "URL To Redirect the Feed", copy the address you copied from FeedBurner in item "G". "Save it."
m) Return to the FeedBurner page, with the login and password.
n) Click on the title of the blog.
o) Click the tab "Optimize" and the link "Smart Feed". Then click enable.
p) Click the tab "Publish" and click on "Friendly Graphic".
q) Scroll down the page until the end, and in the box "Use As A Widget In", select "Blogger"
then Click "Go".
r) the add page Element will open,Make sure you the right site name, edit the title if you want and click "Add Widget".
s) The configuration page of your blogspot will open and feed will be added automatically.
t) From then on, just save your blog.
